In the show…

Participation of exhibitors was very large: more than 86 exhibitors from 15 different worldwide countries were present. In addition to the usual minerals from the classic areas, among which Pakistan and  very interesting samples from China , India and United States it must be put in evidence the participation of some local collectors, with very interesting samples from Carrara marble, Wurtzite, Sulvanite, red Sphalerite in addition to the more classical fluorites, sulphur, calcite, dolomite, etc, very interesting samples of calchocite from Gambatesa mine, and some samples from old Italian collections.  In the stand of Webminerals a big display and high variety of specimens from Alpine minerals, through gem minerals from Pakistan, Afghanistan and other worldwide localities, and after outstanding specimens from America and China, in the same stand a nice selection of minerals from an old Sardinian collection with barite, fluorite, linarite and other extremely aesthetic minerals (among them to underline a sample with barite blades of more than 15 cm in association with fluorite cubes of more than 7/8 centimeters, transparent barites of honey yellow color, blades of green barite from Barbusi of more than 5 centimeters were exposed).

In addition to this must be cited the exposition of some very interesting crystallized copper samples from Grotta del Rame in Elba island, from an old collection of the seventies.

A spanish collector was exposing some very interesting red quartz crystals from Valencia and some very interesting fluorites from the usual Spanish localities.

Always in the show to underline  same samples of globular green calcite from  Cavnic in Rumania,  very nice emerald specimens (cut and on matrix) from Columbia, different fluorite specimens from different localities, etc.    Among the other things that was present in the show a nice stand with Opals from Australia, same good display of Amber from different localities, and very nice stand of handicrafts with beads, rings, etc.

Our  organization effort  was hight with many things to do and we don't see  everything was showed in the tables
