Mineral Show 2004 Report

This second  edition was  attended by more  exibithors  with  a large  variety of specimen both from Italy and  worldwide  and this met the favour of the  collectors  that visited the show.

Our  organization effort  was hight with many things to do and we don't see  everything was showed in the tables

Dealers tables

Starting our virtual trip from Italy and Alps we notice the table of  Camarda, Sanguinetti e Bottoni  showing very nice Tinzenites and classic from Graveglia valley  with some sample of a new mineral with is now under analysis . Also from Liguria very nice Hessonites garnets  found from Baldoni  .  

Webminerals as a new find showed nice samples of  Hessonites &  policrom Vesuvianiti coming from Alpe delle Frasse  and found after many days of hard work in 2003. Among the minerals from Alps  very nice samples of smoky quartz from Galenstock and same interesting samples of iron roses and  Cervandone minerals  showed by  Carretti.
From Africa  a french exibithor Kipulu had nice malachite  and Carrolite specimens while Exotic stone form South Africa  showed the classic Cactus quartz   and some Tsumed and Kalaari pieces with nice Sturmantites. From Morocco  few top quality azzurrites from toussit showed by a Morocco dealer and nice vanadinite on barite in the table of U. Righi.

Dealers tables

From Brasil Varvello  had an intersting batch of tourmalines, uvites, brasilianites  and soame rare minerals among which nice variscites all acquired in a recent trip.  Mr Abello brought nice rubellites and a nice selection of quartz and tourmalines. Other interesting pieces were classic wulfenite from S. Francisco mine and  emeralds from colombia

From Pakistan severals  exibithors showed interesting tourmalines , acquamarines , kunzites  and Inan Khan  had nice fasciculated tourmalines with green cap

From China  there were severals specimens  of good quality  Barites on quartz  ( Ossola e Casazza) fluorites of severals colors scheelites calcites  and aragonites . A chinese dealer Zanglin Li   had a good selection of specimens  among with a nice blue flourite with crystal of 10 cm that was sold .

From east Europe many pieces from Polonia and Romania  and a nice selection of scheelites from russia , Kola minerals and and interesting scandium flourite from Kara oba

From Australia  some nice sample of Gypsum , Diasper and Crocoite , Finally from madagascar a good selection of Pezzottaites were proposed by Mr R. Pagano.
